Shipping Information



FedEx Ground Shipping
Our deliveries are sent by FedEx.  Standard delivery charges based upon the package’s weight and size are assessed.  We ship to the contiguous 48 states only.  As many of our gift items are customized for your particular needs, delivery lead times will vary.  All non-personalized items that are in-stock typically ship within 1-2 business days and arrive within three to five business days from the ship date.  Most personalized items that are in-stock typically ship within 3-5 business days and arrive within three to five business days from the ship date.  The estimated shipping time frame is stated in the product description for those products whose estimated delivery lead time exceeds 3-5 business days.  Please note that these are estimated shipping times and cannot be guaranteed by J.A. Whitney.  Occasionally issues arise that are beyond our control that may lead to additional production time, such as our manufacturers experiencing a backup in product. In the event of a delay, we will notify you by email. If the item you have ordered is out of stock or on backorder, we will contact you with an estimated shipping date and you may decide to either keep or cancel the order.  If you need to check availability before placing your order, please contact us directly at 314-439-0900 or email gifts@jawhitney.com.  

Every item purchased from J.A. Whitney is carefully packaged before shipping. Please note that items ordered together may not arrive in the same box due to the size of the item(s).  During check out, you have the option to select complimentary gift wrap for your item(s).  Such items are carefully tissue wrapped and presented in our signature packaging of classic white box with elegant silk bow.  If you have a preference on bow color, please let us know in the Order Comments. A complimentary J.A. Whitney enclosure card with your personal sentiment also is offered.

Second Day Shipping/Overnight Delivery/Courier Service
If you require second day shipping or overnight delivery for your order, or would like to inquire about our courier service available for local deliveries within the St. Louis area, please contact us directly at 314-439-0900 or email gifts@jawhitney.com.  We can verify if the item or items are available for such expedited delivery as well as quote shipping/courier charges for the order that apply.

Delivery to Post Office Boxes
Our deliveries are sent by FedEx. Post Office box delivery is not available.

International Shipping
At this time we do not offer international shipping or shipping to Canada via our website.

Order Status & Tracking
When your order is processed a tracking number will be assigned to your package and you will receive an email notification that your package has been sent. The email will include the tracking number for reference. Please note that if you ordered several items, they may not all ship in the same box.  If this is the case, tracking numbers will be assigned to each individual shipment and you will receive notice and tracking numbers as each package is sent. The tracking number(s) will also be available from your online account. You can view your order history which will include the track number(s) for your order by clicking “Review orders/track packages” under My Account.  

When Damages Occur During Delivery
